What is IEEE 802.15.4 ? It is the standard which specifies the physical layer and media access control for low rate wireless personal area networks. Commun applications a re Zigbee, thread networking, 6LoWPAN and other protocol stacks.
What is "Pair Gain" ? - It is a means of privisioning more "virtual" circuits over a network that has a limited number of physical connections. e.g 30 telephone customers can be serviced over say 10 pairs of cable.
What is an "ethernet Extender" ? - An ethernet extender increases the range of an ethernet network, allowing longer distances between network connections. Standard ethernet has a maximum of 100 Meters range over Cat 5 cable, whereas using our extender much greater distances can be used, using as little as a single cable pair of telephone grade cable. This enables large premises to use ethernet, along with Ethernet over the Fuirst Mile etc. It has no security or interference suseptability problems as experienced in WIFI networks.
