The HS-E G.SHDSL Bis Ethernet Extender / Modem is based on the advanced G.SHDSL.bis technology. It can transmit high speed symmetrical data up to 11.4Mbps over 1 twisted-pair voice cable. And the range is up to 3km@ 5.7Mbps or 1km@ 11.4Mbps. With trunk bonding technology, the advanced edition HS-E system can transmit broadband data up to 22.8Mbps (2 trunks) or 45.6Mbps (4 trunks). Its performance is well beyond the normal 100 meters distance limitation of normal Ethernet systems. Uning the HS-E, it is easy to deploy an Ethernet network over a very large area without additional costs of specialised optical cabling. The HS-E provides standard 10M/100M Base-T Ethernet interface, and it can be directly connected with all kinds of Ethernet equipment. Multiple and reliable lightning-proof circuits ensure the stability and reliability of the system.

Bit Rate Setting
Hold FUNC button for 4 seconds, COT indicator start flashing. Then SELECT button active for setting the working parameters. There are 12 levels parameter total. Level 12 means RT mode. The indicators of LK1 to LK4 will display the level value in binary. Hold FUNC button for 4 seconds can save the setting and go back to the normal working status. The default bit rate is 5.7Mbps.

Typical Applications
The telecom operator can use the existing copper cable resource to rapidly deploy small capacity WIFI hotspots without extra optical fiber cabling. As a lower investment and supplement solution for optical network, it is the best way to test the respond of market, and get ready for further WIFI access network construction in big area.

For the internal IP network construction or reconstruction of large and medium enterprise, this solution can provide LAN access for remote office. It needs just 1~4 pairs of voice twisted pair cable, so you can use the existing copper cable and don’t need to cabling new CAT-5 cable. And 5.7~45.6Mbps bit rate can meet the high bandwidth requirement of both internet access and data transmission in local area network.

For the video surveillance of residential area or business office, with the existing twisted pair phone cable, the real time video and audio data can be sent back to security office from each IP camera of digital video recorder. One trunk with 5.7Mbps bit rate can transmit 5 channels real time D1 (704*576 resolution) video. This solution can easily cover an area in 3 kilometers radius. Also the construction period and cost will be greatly reduced.

For the industrial equipment control field based on Ethernet, with simple and low cost cabling, this solution can meets the long range, stable and high bandwidth data transmission requirement of various sensor, data gather, industrial computer, and camera.
